This series of six interpretive films explore a conflict that is central to Tasmania’s history. Between 1820 and 1830 Tasmania’s Aboriginal people fought a desperate guerilla war against European invaders.

The Black War was remarkable for its ferocity and tactical maneuvering. This is a story that puts to bed the myth that Tasmanian Aborigines gave up their land without a fight.
